More Viral Influence and Motivation for Involvement: YouTube To Split Revenues With Users

YouTube plans on taking an important step toward integrating advertising by sharing revenue with people who post videos. Content creators who upload their videos to their site will be offered the option of having short ads shown at the beginning or end, with the resulting revenues split 50-50 (as long as they own the rights to the video). This new level of ownership and distribution of content, will be key to driving the quality and demand for video posting up in this new revolution. Kinda cool...
